On February 4th, the Great Chefs Dinner held at the Landau in London, saw six of the capital’s top chefs including Michel Roux Jr and Andrew Wong come together for an evening in aid of DEBRA.
DEBRA is the charity that supports those affected by the life-threatening skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Even in its mildest forms, EB causes lifelong disability and pain. Therefore expert care and support is vital to manage the condition.
The night concluded with a live auction hosted by auctioneer Charlie Ross, best known for his appearances on Bargain Hunt, and Antiques Road Trip.
At this wonderful event, we are delighted to announce GinGenie helped raised a fantastic £500 in the auction on the night. The GinGenie prize received 5 separate bids, including one from Zara Tindall.
We are honoured to have been able to take part in such a sensational event. Most importantly we feel very proud of GinGenie to have done so well in the auction, contributing to the funds raised for the Charity.
As a result of The Dinner, over £70,000 was raised. All the proceeds from the night will go towards funding EB nurses providing life changing care across the country. Therefore making a huge difference to people suffering from EB now and in the future.
